Hair Bands, Head Bands, and Hair Ties

Through the use of hair accessories, I’m able to maintain a “no drama” hair routine that I love.  My staple hairstyle is a wash and go and I use a lot of hair accessories.  Cloth or fabric hair accessories work best for me due to my small head, which is what I love about Etsy.  I can search for this specific type of headband.  All of the following handmade hair accessories were found on Etsy.com.  Enjoy!

HAIR THINGYS

I’ve had the pleasure of wearing Hair Thingys hair accessories for a couple of months now and let me tell you, they are the most durable hair accessories I’ve ever used.  I share these with my daughter (whenever I can pry them from her hands) and they show no signs of wear and tear.  You know how some hair accessories stretch or break and you end up throwing them away?  Well, Hair Thingys are still holding down the puff and the wash and gos.  Thanks Tamra!

Sterling Silver Handforged Wave Hair Thingy, $32.00

  Shell Sticks Hair Thingy, $12.50

 LOLA BEAR

Stumbling upon this Etsy shop started my little crocheting hobby.  Linda creates some of the most beautiful, intricate needlework I’ve ever seen and I love her color combinations.  Her hats (check out the cotton cloches) and scarves are breathtaking.  Lola Bear’s Etsy shop also offers home decor, socks (too cute), aprons, totes, etc.  Make sure you visit Lola Bear over on Etsy.com.

  Knit Headbands, $8.00

   Lola Lacy Beret, $40.00

 KNOTTY STUFF

I stumbled upon Knotty Stuff and had to take a second look.  I just had to feature hair accessories from this Etsy shop.  The needlework design of “Dirty Hair Sash” is truly a work of art.  Like earrings, this is an accessory you can dress up or dress down.  Karyn is a “lover of anything fiber” and also creates some pretty hip clothing (love the boob top by the way), neck warmers, and shrugs.  Be sure to check her out.

  Dirty Hair Band, $18.00

  Sunday Brunch Beanie, $20.00

BLACK MUSTARD

Black Mustard has a serious fiber and fabric head band collection going on, and I like each and every head band at this Etsy shop.  Can’t say I’ve experienced that before.  This shop is heaven sent for those with a “small head” like mine.  Regular head bands just don’t fit right, so I opt for fiber or fabric ones like these created by Joline, the owner of Black Mustard.  She also has a pretty cool blog, so check her out at Black Mustard Blog.

Cream Lace Handknit Head Band, $18.00

Rolling Hills Cotton Head Band, $10.99

Thanks for stopping by Cynthia. I’m glad it worked for you. I couldn’t have made it through the winter without them.

I want to Thank You so very much for the Dirty Hair Sash it should be called the Beauty Sash. It was going to be a Birthday present to me, but you made a present I’ll never forget. It was so special it made me glad that someone I didn’t know put the time to make my purchase more than just something I bought online. If you continue making purchases more than just a purchase you should be a millionare by now. Thank You again and be blessed by your special talent.
